Terms of Service

HoopTrace lets an operator capture basketball stats on a tablet, share a live box score, and generate a branded PDF stat sheet. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

Accounts are for adults (operators, scorers, coaches, league staff). You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. You must have authority to enter the roster and game data you add.

You retain ownership of the roster, game, and stat data you create. You grant us the limited rights needed to host it and provide the Service (store it, render box scores and PDFs, and deliver those to the contacts you designate). See our Privacy Policy for how we handle it.

Don’t misuse the Service: no unlawful use, no attempts to break security or access other organizations’ data, no uploading of data you don’t have the right to use, and no use that harms minors.

HoopTrace is used to publish the names and statistics of young athletes. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You may not submit, publish, or transmit content that is hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, defamatory, or that demeans any person or group — including in organization names, team names, player names, venue names, event names, game titles, and uploaded logos.

We screen submitted names automatically and review every report from a user. Reports are acted on within 24 hours. Content that breaks this rule is removed and the account responsible is suspended or terminated, without refund and without prior notice.

Anyone can report content from inside the app, and signed-in users can block an organization to remove all of its games and events from their view immediately. To report something you cannot reach in the app, email hello@hooptrace.com.

Capturing games, the live box score, and a per-game PDF stat sheet are free and unlimited. Paid plans (Coach and Club) unlock premium features — cross-game player history, verified and branded exports, and club-wide roll-ups; pricing is shown on the pricing page and may change with notice. Paid plans renew per their stated term; contact us to change or cancel.

The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms. On termination you can request an export or deletion of your data.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Cure Consulting Group is organized. (Final jurisdiction & venue to be confirmed.)
